The Senator representing Cross River Northern Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has congratulated a newly promoted Deputy Inspector General of Police, Margaret Ochala, describing her elevation as a moment of pride for the people of Cross River State.
In a congratulatory message, the senator commended the senior police officer, who hails from Yache community in Yala Local Government Area of the state, for her dedication and years of service in the Nigeria Police Force.
Jarigbe said Ochala’s promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector General reflects her professionalism, commitment and record of meritorious service to the country.
He noted that the achievement has brought honour to Cross River North Senatorial District and would inspire young people in the area, particularly women, to aspire to leadership positions in public service.
The lawmaker prayed for divine guidance, protection and wisdom for the new DIG as she takes on the responsibilities of her office.
According to him, the people of the senatorial district are proud of her accomplishment and are confident that she will continue to serve the nation diligently in her new role.
