First, let’s correct this deliberate distortion you keep recycling over the years. There was never a time the Igala people collectively described Yahaya Bello as their misfortune. NEVER! That narrative was carefully, deliberately manufactured by you and your former boss Edward, to sow division between Igalas and Ebiras for your own political convenience. It was a strategy then to push Igalas away from Yahaya Bello by pitching that narrative against our people in Igala land just to be hated for nothing by Yahaya Bello and the Ebiras in government.
You talk about kneeling in Okene at what point did you see Idris HK kneel or reduce himself to desperation before Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan like your Uncle from Olamaboro did at Okene which made him come under heavy fire by Igala sons and daughters about a month ago? You’d never see Idris kneel in such disgusting and disgraceful manner like your uncle did Show evidence where Idris knelt down for Natasha. Just one. If you can’t, then accept that you’re peddling fiction dressed up as political analysis. If you prove it where my Chairman Idris knelt for Natasha, I’ll personally tell HK to wire you N10 million this morning unless, of course, this isn’t really about truth for you but another rounds of deceiving some of your gullible followers who can’t see through you.
Let’s be honest about your pattern Rebel. This same style of writing laced with emotional manipulation and incitement is exactly how you and your Boss Edward helped create unnecessary hostilities and tension between Ebiras and Igalas in the past. You framed coexistence as rivalry because you and your Boss Edward wanted exclusive access to Yahaya Bello and power, you guys hated to see Igalas in that government, the first 4yrs of Yahaya Bello was only about you and your Boss Edward. You painted entire ethnic group as black sheep and also against Ebiras just to protect you and Edward’s selfish interest. That wasn’t politics at all baba, it was pure SABOTAGE of Igala Nation then
Now the irony is glaring, the same bridge you and your former Boss Edward destroyed many years ago is what people like Idris HK is now painstakingly and actively rebuilding but this time around with inclusion, not division. And yes, through leaders like Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who you now attempt to twist into your narrative because it no longer favors you.
Did you ignore what happened at Idah yesterday on purpose or is selective blindness part of your strategy? Ebira women stood and sang, Igala women responded in unity. Natasha spoke not to divide, but to reconcile, reminding both sides of shared history and identity. That’s leadership, that’s maturity, the type you and your former Boss Edward never had. That’s what you couldn’t offer when you had the chance to.
My brother Kogi Rebel, you also mentioned strategy in your write-up, but what Edward and his databoys practiced then was control, not strategy. Real strategy builds alliances, it doesn’t poison or pitch them against each other. Real leadership unites people just like Idris HK is doing currently, it doesn’t turn them into online attack dogs just to insult others. This was the strategy used by you and your former Boss Edward which left Igalas to be insulted and taunted by Ebiras at no provocation at all. But guess what, that Narrative is changing now.
Sadly to you, the Igala people are no longer where you and your former Boss Edward left them. They are wiser now, they can see through recycled propaganda. They know who genuinely seeks progress and who thrives on chaos and anarchy.
So before you attempt another analysis, maybe reflect on your own role in the damage you’re now pretending to critique because history is not as forgetful as you hope and neither are the people
