Lau Community Endorse Gov. Kefas, Rantiyo for Second Term

Electorates in Lau Community has thrown their support behind Governor Agbu Kefas as Governor and Honourable Nuhu Akila Rantiyo as Member Representing Lau State Constituency, Taraba state, for the second term.

The Leader of the electorates, Kabiru Mohammud disclose this while speaking with Journalists in Jalingo.

He said that their endorsement is devoid of sentiment, personal interest or political convenience.

“It is rooted in visible leadership, purposeful representation and remarkable developmental strides witnessed across Lau local government and Taraba State under their leadership.

According to him, after extensive consultations, careful assessment and consideration of the current political realities, they collectively resolved to stand firmly behind the continuity of Governor Agbu Kefas and Honourable Nuhu Akila Rantiyo whose leadership have continue to inspire hope, unity, development and inclusive governance across the state.

“As representatives of the overwhelming majority and electoral strength of our communities, we recognize the importance of sustaining purposeful and people re – oriented leadership. We therefore reaffirm our commitment to mobilize massive support and votes for Governor Agbu Kefas and Hon. Nuhu Akila Rantiyo in appreciation for their dedication to youth employment, Infrastructural development, community engagement, peace and good governance – he said.

He debunked the insinuations by some individuals misleading the public by false claims that the current member representing the Constituency has not executed any meaningful projects nor enjoys any support amongs the people.

“We consider such statements as baseless political blackmail intended intended to undermine visible achievements.

“Governor Kefas has continue to provide visionary leadership for Taraba state through transformative policies and programmes focus on peace building, education, economic growth, infrastructural development and social progress.

“Similarly, Honourable Nuhu Akila Rantiyo has distinguish himself through responsive representation, accessibility, empowerment initiatives and developmental achievements that improve the lives of the people.

“We make it unequivocally clear that the people and youths of Lau Local Government Constituency remain solidly behind Governor Agbu Kefas and Hon. Nuhu Akila Rantiyo – he added.
