Atiku Obtains ADC Presidential Forms, Set to Make Presentation at Party’s Headquarters on Monday

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar is set to present his African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential nomination forms at the party’s National Secretariat, Abuja on Monday, May 11, 2026.

In a statement on Saturday, the ADC announced that Atiku had paid for and received his nomination form receipt for the 2027 presidential election, with the formal presentation already scheduled.

“A New Chapter in Nigeria’s Democratic Journey: H.E. Atiku Abubakar, GCON, has officially received his payment receipt to contest under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 Presidential Election,” the statement read.

“The formal presentation of nomination forms is expected on Monday at the ADC National Secretariat, Abuja. The movement is growing. Hope is rising. Expect more.”

This development, according to the opposition political party, marks another significant moment in the growing movement for national renewal, democratic inclusion, and people-driven leadership within the ADC.

As Nigerians continue to seek credible alternatives, the ADC said it remains committed to providing a strong platform built on unity, competence, economic recovery, security, and national progress.

One of the two images in the post shows the official ADC receipt for N90 million presidential nomination fee dated May 8, 2026, and a promotional poster declaring Atiku as the presidential candidate with the slogan “A Leader. A Vision. A New Nigeria.”

Atiku left the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and joined the ADC in late 2025, making the party a central platform for opposition efforts against President Bola Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
