The Chairman Ardo-Kola Local Government Council, Taraba State, Hon. Umar Bello Badawaire has felicitated with the muslim ummah for the peaceful celebration of the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.
He urged Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir to pray for peace for the state and Nigeria as we mark this’ year’s 2026 Eid-el-Kabir.
“This occasion is a profound reminder of the power of faith, discipline, selflessness and unwavering devotion of Almighty Allah.
Badawaire noted that “in these challenging times there’s need for all Nigerians to pray together and ask Almighty Allah to forgive our short comings and redirect our steps as a people.
“Let us extend hands of kindness to the vulnerable, promote peace across our communities, reject division in all its forms, pray for administration of governor Agbu Kefas and work tirelessly for a just, equitable and prosperous Taraba and Nigeria where every citizen thrives.
“I pray that Almighty Allah shower his boundless mercy upon us and grant Taraba everlasting peace, unity and progress.
He therefore encouraged residents in the state to pray fervently for continues peace for Dr. Agbu Kefas and president Bola Ahmed Tinubu administrations.
“At a time when our nation continues to navigate important political and economic transitions, the significance of this celebration becomes even more profound.
“Let us be reminded that we all belong to one shared humanity and our collective progress as a people depends on our ability to uphold unity, mutual respect, peace and compassion above all divisions.
“This season, therefore, offers us another opportunity to recommit ourselves to the ideals of tolerance, sacrifice for the common good, and solidarity with one another, especially the vulnerable among us.
“Eid Kabir reminds us of obedience, sacrifice, and trust in Allah’s plan – he said.
