The Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, has given President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a perfect performance rating, describing his administration as the force behind what he called the emergence of a “new Nigeria.”
Uzodimma said the President has successfully stabilised the country and steered it away from what he described as a looming collapse.
He made the remarks during a Sallah courtesy visit by governors, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, to President Tinubu at his Lagos residence.
A video of the visit, shared by *The Cable* on Saturday, captured Uzodimma praising the President’s reform-driven leadership and what he described as bold policy interventions since assuming office.
According to him, the administration’s reforms over the past three years have restored confidence and laid the groundwork for national recovery and stability.
“You have moved Nigeria away from the path of collapse to one of stability and survival. As subnational leaders, we are grateful,” he said.
Uzodimma further stated that the governors had assessed the President’s performance and unanimously rated it at 100 percent, describing it as exceptional.
“We have reviewed your performance, Mr President, and I am pleased to say we score you 100%,” he said.
He also commended Tinubu’s leadership style, describing him as visionary and fatherly, noting that his interventions had provided critical support to state governments.
The Imo governor reaffirmed the commitment of state governors to support and promote the federal government’s economic agenda across the country.
“We are proud to serve as your ambassadors at the subnational level. We will continue to defend your policies, communicate your message, and assure Nigerians that the country is moving from darkness into light,” he added.
