Reject Ododo To Trauncate Bello’s 3rd Term Bid – SDP’s Ajaka Urge Kogites

…Pledges to rehabilitate and grant total amnesty to political thugs

As preparation for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State reaches home stretch, candidate of Social Democratic Party, SDP, Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, has urged Kogites to reject the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Usman Ododo to truncate Governor Yahaya Bello’s attempt to hold unto power by proxy.

This is even as he pledged to rehabilitate the children of the poor that are being used as political thugs.

Ajaka stated this while addressing Kogi indigenes in Kaduna during a rally on Friday.

“Take your destinies in your hands by distancing yourselves from the gimmicks of Yahaya Bello who wants foist Usman Ododo on the State, so he can continue rule by proxy.

“I am committed to rehabilitating the children of the poor that are being used as political thugs to pepetrate all forms of political crises and by extension kidnappings, if elected.”

“I will grant total amnesty and create meaningful engagements rather than using them to create man made insecurities in Kogi state all in the he name of fositing an unpopular APC candidate, Usman Ododo on the people.

He urged them to reachout to their family members at home to vote for him in the coming election.

According to him, “it is unfortunate that while some states are facing natural phenomenon of insecurity across their states, Yahaya Bello, the Kogi state governor is busy creating artificial insecurity to win election at all costs, inspite his unpopular leadership and his APC candidate.

“A governor that kept campaigning against violence only in the television and on the pages of newspapers, but indulged in breeding thugs felt short of expectations.”

“We have a government of do as I say, but not as I do, we have a governor who will tell you good morning, but you have to look at your wrist watch twice, and we also have a governor who will say one thing in the morning and do another in the evening.”

“These are the sad trend we are going to change within a twinkle of an eye when we assumed duty by the grace of God in November”.

“We have our 20B confiscated by the CBN, out of the 50B bailout, we are going to use the money to begin the holistic reformation of local government administration, Primary and Basic Education.”

“You are not unaware that 90% of our basic and secondary schools in Kogi state are in bad shape, moribund, their success are only on television and pages of newspapers, which we are determined to reverse.”

“There is only existence of empty ultra modern and referral hospitals scattered around Kogi , without equipment and staff, we will reform out health sectors to avoid excusable and sudden deaths prevalent in Kogi.

“When our late former Kogi Governor was alive, Prince Abubakar Audu, whenever he established hospitals he created employment opportunities, like wise schools, but in Kogi of today, reverse is the case. Teachers are employed fraudulently and are denied payment for many months, how do you expect them to survive.

He said, Kogites are daily beaten by Governor Yahaya Bello, but urged them not cry, saying pay back time is November 11, 2023.
