China Will Work With Nigeria To Intensify Cooperation In Culture, Education And Tourism – Li Xuda

The Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of Peoples Republic of China in Nigeria and Director of Chinese Cultural Centre in Abuja, Li Xuda has stated that China will cooperate with Nigeria in a bid to strengthen Exchanges in Culture, Education and Tourism.

He made this declaration at a World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development walk, in Abuja noted that both countries can build friendship through the cultural bridge in the area of education, political and every field including the film industry and exchange programs to achieve a solid win-win cooperation for China and Nigeria.According to Li: “Nigeria has a lot of rich cultures. I have visited a lot of museums and tourism sites and have seen that there is a huge potential for our two countries to push forward our culture, education and tourism cooperation and exchange and through this we can build a bridge for the harmony of the world.”

He also added that this year 2023 marks the 10years Anniversary of the Belt and Road initiative and this has really promoted people to people bond between China, Nigeria and several countries adding that the initiative will continue to strengthen this bond.

Also, the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of Art, Culture and Creative Economy,Mr Abiola Abdulkareem, expressed his appreciation to the Chinese Cultural Centre for their efforts and support especially in the areas of promoting cultural exchanges,  education amongst others.He also added that the commemoration event is very special for China and Nigeria because it will be the first official one of the Ministry since it was craved out to stand alone.

“Nigeria has been endowed with so much beautiful culture dimension and that is the strength of this country because we have all these elements of diversity from different works of life coming together in unison”

“We are very happy to mark this day because it is a new administration that is coming as the Ministry is newly created,” he said.
