Norwegian top-flight club Lillestrøm SK have confirmed the signing of promising Nigerian winger Seun Akanji from Sporting Lagos on a four-year contract.
The 18-year-old joins the Norwegian side after emerging as one of the brightest young talents in Nigerian football, following an impressive spell with Sporting Lagos. Akanji was instrumental in the club’s promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and also played a key role in their triumph in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Four competition.

Although negotiations for the transfer had been concluded several months ago, the deal has now been officially finalised, allowing the youngster to begin his professional career in Europe.
