Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for deeper alignment of China and Jordan’s development strategies to expand cooperation across traditional and emerging sectors.
Mr Xi made the call on Monday during talks with Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who is on a state visit to China.
He said both countries should strengthen cooperation in the economy and trade, infrastructure, transportation and mining.
Mr Xi also called for expanding cooperation in emerging areas, including the digital economy, artificial intelligence and green energy.
He urged both sides to deepen exchanges in education, culture, science and technology, tourism, and other fields.
