Carter Efe Loses TikTok Account With 5.6 Million Followers Over Policy Violations ‎

Popular Nigerian skit maker and content creator Carter Efe has reportedly lost his official TikTok account with 5.6 million followers due to repeated platform policy violations.

‎

‎The video-sharing platform confirmed the permanent ban on Wednesday, citing multiple infractions of its community guidelines.

‎

‎The enforcement shuts down the creator’s main short-form video hub, where he built a massive audience of 5.6 million followers through comedy skits, music promotions, and live broadcasts.

‎

‎The development has triggered reactions online, with fans expressing shock that an account with such a large following could disappear from the platform.

‎

‎Several users, including fans and commentators, on X (formerly Twitter) have expressed concerns over platform restrictions and the loss of years of audience growth.

‎

‎Reacting to the development, @Olamide0fficial posted, “Losing an account that took you years to build is one of the hardest things ever; hopefully, he gets the account back.”

‎

‎Another user, @blaccmajek, wrote: “Stupid app. There’s nobody they can’t suspend.”

‎

‎@abazwhyllzz urged fans to support the creator, noting the sudden loss of the platform’s 5.6 million-follower reach.

‎

‎@DarealTerancez, “I know it’s the haters reporting his account.”

‎

‎@the1reallfash, “Permanently banned?!! What did bro do?”

‎

‎@Samuel_Fasuyan said, “I believe it might be due to his being overly @.ggress!ve on live streams.”

‎

‎@SolomonAbies, “Aww, I’m so happy for him.”

‎

‎@CreathorrD, “Fc don vex report him acct.”

‎

‎@Emmanuelnwaokek said, “Them for done dey warn werey since e no hear thinking him nah celebrity nothing go happen.”

‎

‎The incident highlights the growing vulnerabilities content creators face regarding platform dependency, copyright enforcement, and community guideline strictures on international social media applications.

‎

‎However, despite the loss of his TikTok handle, Mr Efe continues to broadcast and engage his audience through alternative social media channels.

‎

‎Mr Efe, who gained widespread music fame in 2022 following the release of his hit single featuring “Berri Tiga,” has also established a prominent presence as a live streamer on Twitch.
