The Transmission Company of Nigeria has announced a temporary interruption of electricity supply to some areas of Suleja and environs in Niger on Saturday.
In a statement on Friday, TCN said the outage would run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
“Consequently, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will experience a 20-minute interruption of power supply only to customers in Suleja Township, FCT College of Education, Field Base, Zuba, Sabon Wuse and environs,” TCN said.
It stated that the interruption was to enable the transfer of load from Gwarinpa–Suleja Line 2 to Kubwa–Suleja Line 1 to facilitate the maintenance exercise without a prolonged outage.
The company apologised for any inconvenience this may cause consumers in the affected areas.
