Located 40 km from Addis Ababa, the airport will be built in two stages, showcasing a well-planned approach to its development. Upon completion, it is expected to handle up to 110 million passengers by 2029, solidifying its position as a major aviation hub.
The project’s ambitious goal is to establish Ethiopia as a leading global aviation hub by 2035. This initiative underscores the country’s dedication to developing its infrastructure and expanding its presence in the aviation industry.
