African Bar Association Congratulates Senator John Azuta Mbata on Election as Ohaneze Ndigbo President-General_
The African Bar Association has congratulated Senator John Azuta Mbata on his election as President-General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide. In a letter signed by High Chief Ibrahim Eddy Mark (Life Bencher), the association expressed its warm felicitations and fervent prayers for Mbata’s tenure success.
The association acknowledged Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide as a cultural organization that brings together Igbo-speaking people in Nigeria and worldwide. They noted that as a cultural organization, Mbata will utilize his wealth of experience to find solutions to the problems affecting cultural people in Africa, particularly in Nigeria.
“We are aware that OHA-NE-EZE NDIGBO WORLDWIDE is a cultural organization that brings together the Igbo speaking people Nigeria and Worldwide,” the letter stated. “As a cultural organization, we envisage that you will bring your wealth of experience whilst piloting her affairs to bring to bear in finding solutions to the problems affecting cultural people in Africa and especially Nigeria.”
The letter highlighted the sufferings faced by people of diverse cultures in Africa, including hunger, insecurity, infrastructural deficits, and inequality in life expectancy. The association assumed that Mbata’s experience as a senator and chairman of a construction company will enable him to address these complaints effectively.
“We have noted the sufferings faced by people of diverse culture in Africa from the stand point of hunger, insecurity, infrastructural deficits, inequality in life expectancy,” the letter noted. “We therefore in congratulating you, do assume that having served the Nigerian Senate as a Senator and presently, Chairman of a well-known Construction Company and knowing the nuances of government will speedily find solace for the complaints of the people.”
The African Bar Association expressed its optimism that Mbata’s leadership will bring about positive change and development to the Igbo people and Nigeria as a whole. The association wished Mbata a successful tenure and pledged its support in his endeavors.
“Once again, the Africa Bar Association sends her warm felicitation on your election and fervently pray for your tenure success,” the letter concluded.
