The Paramount Ruler of Kwarrafa Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen has emphasize on the importance of people living in peace with one another.
He stated this in his remarks to mark his 80th birthday celebration in Wukari, Headquarters of the Kingdom.
“I call on people in the state to live in peace with each other, obey the laws of the land. Support government policies and programs for the development of our state.
“I am doing this celebration to upgrade the Kingdom and we should all do what will move the Kingdom forward.
“We should live in peace and forgive one another to promote the Kingdom.
The Monarch call on his subjects to engage themselves in farming activities, to drive away hunger.
“We should all farm, because if we don’t, there will be hunger next year – he said.
In his remarks, Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas felicitated with Aku – Uka of Wukari, His Royal Majesty Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakhitswen on his 80th birthday celebration.
The Governor represented by the Permanent Secretary, Bureau for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engineer Godfrey Dame Andrew, congratulated Aku-Uka for reaching Eighty Years.
He appeal to Traditional Rulers to ensure peace and security in their domain.
“The Government will work with Traditional Rulers in ensuring peace and security in their domain.
“Beware of stretch faces in your domains. Make sure you fetch them out and report to security agencies for peace to rain.
He appreciated the roles played by traditional institutions in the state.
“The Government will ensure that all entitlements are properly taking care of and paid as at when due.
He use the medium to call on people to respect Royal Fathers and listen to their advice.
He applauded the Royal Father for piloting the affairs of Kwarrafa Kingdom.
“The Government will continue to support traditional institutions in the state, for they are the custodians of our culture, peace and security in our domains – he said.
Speaking, the Chairman of Wukari Local Government, Hon. Bala Useni Aji, extolled the monarch’s exemplary reign, describing him as a beacon of stability and a distinguished custodian of rich cultural heritage.
“We are not only here to celebrate, but to further strengthen relationship, acknowledging cultural identity and creating meaningful memories – he said.

“This remarkable milestone transcends the celebration of age; it is a profound tribute to a lifetime devoted to selfless leadership, preservation of cultural heritage, and the promotion of unity and peace across the Kwararafa Kingdom and beyond.
“At 80, His Royal Majesty stands tall as a symbol of wisdom, resilience, and enduring royal excellence – he said.
Hon. Dr. Ayuba Zaku Dampar extolled the monarch’s exemplary reign, describing him as a beacon of stability and a distinguished custodian of rich cultural heritage.
He noted that the monarch’s leadership has significantly contributed to the growth, harmony, and unity of the region, while also strengthening traditional institutions and fostering peaceful coexistence among diverse communities.
“As family members, dignitaries, and well-wishers gather to celebrate this historic occasion, it is our collective prayer that Almighty God continues to bless His Royal Majesty with sound health, long life, and divine wisdom to sustain his impactful and inspiring reign.

Both Christian Association of Nigeria and the Muslim Council in Wukari gave their goodwill messages.
