Barack and Michelle Obama Address Divorce Rumor

Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama are pushing back against rumors of a split.

On a new episode of the podcast “IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson,” the couple appeared together and discussed recent speculation surrounding their marriage.

Michelle’s brother, Craig Robinson, opened the conversation by noting how often people question the couple’s relationship when they’re not seen together.

Michelle explained that anytime she is not with her husband at public events, it sparks false claims that their relationship is in trouble.

She shared that people often assume the worst without knowing the full story.

Barack joked that he’s often unaware of the rumors until someone else brings them up. Michelle also said that despite facing challenges, she has never considered walking away from her marriage.

She described their journey as one filled with both tough times and memorable moments and shared that being with Barack has helped her grow as a person.

Earlier in the year, Michelle discussed her decision not to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration.

She explained that her personal choices were misunderstood and often taken as signs of trouble in her relationship.

She said many couldn’t believe she simply chose to prioritize herself during that time.

The Obamas, married since 1992, have two daughters, Malia and Sasha.

In the same podcast, Barack also spoke about raising children and shared his thoughts on fatherhood.

He said he might have faced more difficulty raising sons than daughters, mainly because he didn’t have a father figure himself. He believes this may have made him more strict or less understanding with a son.

The former president also talked about the challenges boys and young men face today.

He shared concerns about how society is raising boys and how this can affect relationships and political attitudes.

He said young men need support and attention just as much as girls, and that neglecting their development can lead to unhealthy thinking.
