Barcelona are reportedly close to agreeing a new contract with exciting youngster Landry Farre.
The 18-year-old has just one year left on his existing deal but Barcelona are ready to offer him a contract that runs until 2028, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Hansi Flick has taken a few checks on Farre in first-team training since taking over, and he’s definitely yet another player to keep an eye on this season.
Farre is a versatile defender who usually plays at right-back but has also featured centrally and on the opposite flank at Barcelona.
The teenager was part of the team that won the UEFA Youth League last season and will be hoping to catch the eye with Barcelona Atletic in 2025-26.
Yet fans will have to wait a while to see him back in action. Farre is currently sidelined with an ankle problem and isn’t expected back until the end of October.
