Bello Vs EFCC: Operatives Disperse Pro-Bello Protesters In Abuja

A hired crowd that stormed Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) office in Abuja, today was dispersed by operatives with some wounded while others were arrested by the team .

The pro- Bello crowd hired from all over Abuja were seen with various placards on Monday calling for the removal of EFCC chairman and to also exonerate the former Kogi Governor, a guest to EFCC on allegations of over 80 Billion.

Bello who has engaged in multiple ways of using all forms of groups including hungry hired Lagos CSO’s readily available for all his pseudo works in and out of office.

Many fake protesters who came particularly from Lokoja and it’s environs with other paid ones were taken to the custody of the EFCC.

Meanwhile, anti corruption crusaders and social justice campaigners both from Kogi and it’s environs converged on EFCC headquarters with an urge not to be deterred from bringing to justice , the former Kogi Governor over his stewardship in the last eight years.

They said the incumbent governor, Usman Ododo is harboring the fugitive and wanted governor Yahaya Bello in Government House Lokoja, asking the EFCC to compel the governor to produce his predecessor.

They pleaded with EFCC not to be railroad into bringing to justice the former governor over a whooping 80blillion among others.

They said many corruption activities and misdeeds will be unravel that will indict the current leaders in the state , hence they are hiding him.

The protesters pleaded with EFCC not to abandon their mandate, saying the protest was to commend them and their efforts to probe former Kogi Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

The protest was jointly led by social crusader, Comrade Austin Okai among others from Kogi and outside the state.
