Bendel Insurance claimed a 2-0 victory over Enyimba FC in their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash on Saturday at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Edo State.

Alex Oweilayefa opened the scoring for Bendel Insurance in the 27th minute with a brilliant solo effort, giving the home side the lead.
Efe Ubiomo sealed the win in the 76th minute, doubling the advantage and putting the game beyond Enyimba’s reach.
Despite efforts to fight back, Enyimba could not penetrate Bendel Insurance’s resilient defence.
The defeat marks Enyimba’s 10th loss of the season, while Bendel Insurance climbs to 6th place on the NPFL table with 37 points.
Enyimba remains in 12th place with 31 points.
