Bishop Abioye, Isaac Oyedepo to Headline 11th Annual ‘Prayer Storm’ in Port Harcourt

PORT HARCOURT – The city of Port Harcourt is set to host a landmark spiritual gathering as the 11th Annual edition of “Prayer Storm” prepares to debut in January 2026.

Scheduled for Monday, January 12th through Sunday, January 18th, 2026, this year’s event marks over a decade of sustained intercession and revival in the region. The week-long spiritual convergence will hold daily at 4:00 PM at the expansive Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Field in Rumuola.

Speaking on the significance of this year’s edition, the Coordinating Minister, Pastor Samson Kpandei, described the 11th anniversary as a pivotal moment for the body of Christ in the South-South region.
“This year is special because we are entering a new dimension of glory,” Pastor Kpandei stated. “The theme, ‘A New Realm,’ is not just a slogan; it is a prophetic declaration. For 11 years, God has been faithful, but we believe that 2026 will mark the beginning of an unprecedented outpouring of the Spirit for every attendee.”

To celebrate this milestone, the organizers have unveiled a powerhouse lineup of spiritual leaders. The renowned Bishop David Abioye and Pastor Isaac Oyedepo are set to headline the event, bringing their apostolic and prophetic grace to the city.

They will be joining a distinguished host of anointed ministers, including Apostle Michael Orokpo, Pastor Samson Ajetomobi, and Pastor Emmanuel Okolo. Also ministering are Pastor Ayuk Raymond Ayuk, Pastor Soji Oni, and Pastor Salvation Oziri.

Powered by the collaborative efforts of the Cast Your Cares Foundation and the RCCG Rivers Family, the event is designed as a period of intense worship and divine encounter. Pastor Kpandei emphasized that the event is open to people from all denominations and walks of life.

“We have made adequate preparations to receive the multitude,” Kpandei added. “We are trusting God that no one will return the same way they came.”

To facilitate easy access for the massive crowd expected for this anniversary edition, the committee has confirmed that free buses will be available to convey worshippers to and from the Rumuola venue daily.
