Bobrisky Jets Out of Nigeria Amidst Bribery Controversy
Nigerian social media influencer Idris Okunleye, also known as Bobrisky, has left the country amid allegations of bribery.
Bobrisky announced his departure via Instagram, sharing that he had purchased a first-class ticket worth over 30 million Nigerian naira.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had previously arrested Bobrisky for allegedly refusing to honor an invitation related to bribery allegations.
According to EFCC spokesperson Dele Oyewale, “We arrested him because he refused to honour our invitation… He was trying to run away from mentioning those he said collected bribe from him.”
Bobrisky denied the allegations and was subsequently released on bail.
