R&B star Chris Brown has been released from prison on £5,000,000 bail after being charged with a “bottle attack” in London. The singer was arrested in Manchester and taken into custody in connection with an alleged incident at a London nightclub.
According to reports, Brown allegedly hit music producer Abe Diaw over the head with a bottle and then punched and kicked him when he fell to the ground. Brown’s bail conditions include a surety of £5 million.
The incident has sparked widespread media attention, with many fans and critics alike following the developments closely. Brown’s highly anticipated “Breezy Bowl” European tour was put in jeopardy following his arrest.
Brown faces charges of grievous bodily harm, which could result in severe penalties, including potential jail time, if convicted. Diaw has also filed a $16 million lawsuit against Brown in connection with the incident.
The case will next be heard in court on June 13, where further proceedings are expected to take place.
