Former President Muhammadu Buhari has revealed why he apologised to Nigerians before leaving office in 2023.
Recall that President Buhari handed over to his party member, President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on May 29, 2023.
The former president who spoke at a book launch in Abuja on Tuesday, stated that he did not intend to cause pain and suffering, but a decision had to be made, the reason why he apologized for any harm caused.

Two publications about the ex-president were launched. The first was “Working with Buhari: Reflections of a Special Adviser on Media and Publicity (2015–2023),” written by Femi Adesina, and a volume of five books, “Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy (2015–2023)”, edited by Dr. Udu Yakubu.
