The China Cultural Center in Abuja has hosted a unique art exhibition on Thursday, June 13th, featuring works by Chinese artists inspired by their travels across Africa.
The exhibition, which drew in over 200 attendees, aimed to strengthen cultural exchange and showcase the rich cultural heritage of the African continent.
*”Africa is a land of culture and a land of hope,”* said Counsellor Li Xuda, Cultural Counsellor of the Chinese Embassy and Director of the China Cultural Center in Nigeria. *”Through this photo exhibition, we can know more about African countries, including Senegal, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Mauritius. It will have a very positive impact and give people hope and confidence for the future of African countries.”*
The exhibition featured over 20 paintings, including works by renowned Chinese artists Duan Tie Jun and Chen Cheng. The event was hailed as a powerful platform to challenge stereotypes and foster mutual understanding between China and Africa.
