At 75th Anniversary Celebration, China Sets New World Record with 10,200-Drone Light Show
China celebrated the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic with a breathtaking display of technological prowess, setting a new Guinness World Record for the largest drone light show.
A staggering 10,197 drones, controlled by a single computer, flew in perfect sync above Shenzhen, showcasing the nation’s innovative spirit.
“This achievement showcases China’s technological advancements and its ability to push boundaries,” said a spokesperson for DAMODA Intelligent Control Technology Co., Ltd, the company behind the record-breaking display.

The drones, dubbed “Outdoor V3 formation UAV,” feature advanced navigation systems, including GPS and BDS, allowing for pinpoint accuracy within an inch. Each unit is equipped with a 10-watt LED, enabling the swarm to display vibrant, full-color images.
“This display is not just a spectacle, but a demonstration of China’s commitment to innovation and progress,” added the spokesperson.
The record-breaking show surpassed DAMODA’s previous record of 7,598 drones set in September. The company’s achievement highlights China’s rapid advancements in drone technology and its growing presence in the global tech landscape.
