Coalition Of Kogi Central SDP Affirms Hon Idirisu As Leader 

The Coalition Of Kogi Central SDP supporters has expressed displeasure over an insulting, biased, wicked and ethnocentric publication against the appointment of Rt. Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu as the Kogi Central Zonal Chairman

by the Muri/Sam campaign organisation.

“While we agree that Kogi Central is a very delicate terrain to handle in campaigning for Muri/Sam for obvious reasons, we totally disagree with the position of this unknown group that is sponsored by the opposition to cause misunderstanding and create mistrust.

“We wish to categorically state that, in the entire Kogi Central, there’s nobody that’s worthy, competent and reliable to head the Muri/Sam campaign other than Rt. Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu. Those painting him bad are only doing so out of the fear of what he brings to the table and the fear that Hon. Lawal will deliver the required percentage of votes that will guarantee the victory of Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka against their preferred candidate.

“The only crime of Hon. Lawal is that he comes from a minority tribe in Kogi central. These false allegations are coming from the same category of people that frustrated his third term bid because of the tribe he comes from. Even when he left the APC he built from scratch with his money for them, they remained bent on fighting him.”

This very false publication is the handwork of those that  hate the SDP gubernatorial candidate because of his tribe, because he refused to bend the knee to the oppressors of kogites and cowardly accept their decisions. Clearly, Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu is like Hon Murtala Yakubu Ajaka because he also refused to bend the knee to them and dared the odds, even though they truncated his victory.

To this end, we wish to state the following:

1.. Rt. Hon Lawal Idirisu is a leader in Kogi Central by virtue of Ajaokuta being in Kogi central, the office he has held in the past and his contribution to the economy of the zone. Fate made him a leader and no amount of hate can change that.

2.. Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu can be consulted by anyone and whoever he decides to partner with, meet or relate with is not the business of anyone.

3.. Contrary to the position of these merchants of falsehood, Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu gallantly campaigned and went to the polls despite the intimidation of powers from within and without. Hon. Lawal has never abandoned a project he is concerned with, reason they are already scared seeing his name on the campaign council because they know he will not back down if onboard.

4.. The silence of Hon. Lawal is causing panic in the camp of these evil and unknown people that they resolved to sharing fake news to hear him talk.

5.. Hon Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu is not selfish or self-centered as the unknown group is claiming. It is on record that he is one of the best legislators ever produced by the North Central and by far the best from Kogi State. The record of his achievements are in the public.

6.. Powers are queuing to have Hon. Lawal on their teams.

The questions now are: Is Hon Lawal really their problem? If Hon Lawal is not a leader in Kogi central who then is a leader in the central?. It is madness of the highest velocity to attack a man because of what God bestowed on him.

Right now, Rt. Hon. Muhammadu Lawal Idirisu is the most courted Political leader in Kogi central, yet these urchins that are too idle to think have the guts to write such thrash about him. This justified the adage that Said” the most fruitful tree attacks the most stones”.

We are warning this unknown group and their sponsors to desist from spreading fake news against a man that is our leader in Kogi central and against a man whose capacity and potentials are unmatched by any of them.
