Dekina/Bassa Rep, Paul Gowon Haruna Mourns Sudden Demise of Kogi APC Zonal Chairman, Suleiman Mikail
Member representing Dekina/Bassa federal constituency at the Nigerian National Assembly, Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna, has expressed deep sadness over the sudden passing of Hon. Suleiman Mikail, the Kogi East Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). “I am deeply saddened by the news of the sudden passing of Hon. Suleiman Mikail,” Haruna said.
Mikail’s death has sent shockwaves throughout the community, with many remembering him as a dedicated and passionate individual who worked tirelessly for the betterment of his people. “His industrious spirit and commitment to progress left a strong impression on all who encountered him,” Haruna noted.
The late Mikail was a prominent figure in Kogi State politics, and his contributions to the APC were immense. He played a crucial role in mobilizing support for the party and worked closely with other stakeholders to ensure the party’s success in the region.
Mikail’s demise has created a profound and irreplaceable vacuum not only within the party but across Kogi East as a whole. His passing has left a gaping hole in the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all.
Haruna extended his heartfelt condolences to the people of Odu Ward, Dekina LGA, the Government of Kogi State, members of the All Progressives Congress, the entire Igala Nation, friends, loved ones, and Mikail’s immediate family. “May God, in His infinite mercy, grant him eternal rest in paradise and give his loved ones the strength to bear this great loss. May his soul rest in peace,” Haruna said.
Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, also mourned Mikail’s demise, describing the development as “shocking and devastating.” Salifu highlighted Mikail’s exceptional character as a gentleman who served the party diligently, contributing significantly to the growth and success of the APC in the zone.
As news of Mikail’s passing continues to spread, many have taken to social media to pay tribute to the late politician. His legacy will undoubtedly live on through the countless lives he touched and the many contributions he made to his community.
