Delta North APC Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori For Second Term

The All Progressives Congress APC) in Delta North Senatorial District on Sunday, endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for re-election as President and Governor respectively in the 2027 election.

At a meeting of APC, Delta North Senatorial District presided by the state’s Deputy Governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA, at Boji Boji Owa in Ika North-East Local Government Area of Delta State, it was resolved that the President and the Governor should be re-elected for the good work they are doing.

The member representing Ika Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Victor Nwokolo, moved the motion for the endorsement of the President and the Governor, while the Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Nwobi, seconded the motion, which was unanimously affirmed to by all those who attended the meeting.

Delta North Senatorial Chairman of APC, Ogbueshi Adizue Eluaka at the meeting, emphasized that as the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme is the leader of the party in the district.

Sir Onyeme, expressed joy at the turn out of people at the meeting, saying, “I am truly encouraged by what I see here today – the energy, the unity shows that we are ready to take APC to greater heights in Delta North; your presence today is not just symbolic, it is a statement of purpose and determination.

“For us to win big, especially come 2027, we must first win together – right from the ward level to our local government areas; unity is our greatest strength, and we must protect it at all cost.

“Loyalty to the party and respect for leadership must be non-negotiable; if we want APC to grow, then those of us in government – whether elected or appointed must lead by example and support the party structure wholeheartedly.

The immediate past Governor of Delta State, Sen. Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, CON, emphatically said that members of the party should pay serious attention to delivering President Bola Tinubu and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the 2027 elections

Chairman of the party in the state, Engr. Omeni Sobotie, described the meeting as a gathering of “those who can win election in Delta North.

He urged them to remain united for the APC to remain strong in the district.

Some of those who spoke at the meeting include Rt. Hon. Victor Ochei, Hon. Pascal Adigwe, Hon. Doris Uboh, Chief Nkem Okwuofu, Elder Moses Iduh, Sir Chamberlain Dunkwu, among others, restated the commitment of members of the party to win in all the elections.
