DG Protocol Govt House, Suleiman Ibrahim Commends Publisher / CEO of the Confluence Trust Newspaper

The Director General of Protocol, Government House, Lokoja, Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim, has extolled the exceptional efforts and professionalism of the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer of the Confluence Trust Newspaper, Hon. Solomon Agada.

Alhaji Suleiman gave the commendation on Tuesday while hosting the young publisher in his office at the Government House, Lokoja. He described the Confluence Trust Newspaper as one of the most promising and credible indigenous publications in Kogi State, noting that it has consistently demonstrated commitment to accurate and balanced reportage.

According to him, “As one of the leading indigenous publishers in the state, the Confluence Trust Newspaper is doing excellently well and deserves every encouragement to continue in this positive direction. Hon. Solomon Agada and his team have carved a niche for themselves by promoting truthful and verified information, which is essential for the growth and development of our society.”

The DG Protocol used the occasion to call on all sons and daughters of Kogi State, both at home and in the diaspora, to rally support for the young publisher’s vision. He emphasized that with collective encouragement and patronage, the newspaper will not only grow to become a household name within the state but will also compete favorably with renowned national tabloids across Nigeria.

Alhaji Suleiman further urged Hon. Agada and the management team not to relent in their pursuit of excellence, assuring them that their hard work and dedication will soon translate into greater breakthroughs and recognition.

In his response, Hon. Solomon Agada expressed profound gratitude to the DG Protocol for the warm reception and kind words of encouragement. He assured that the Confluence Trust Newspaper would continue to collaborate closely with the Government House in projecting the achievements, policies, and programmes of the present administration, while also maintaining its commitment to fair and objective journalism.

Also present at the meeting was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Protocol and Government House Administration, Hon. Abdulbasit Adarehi Kashim, who equally commended the publisher for his initiative. He encouraged Hon. Agada to remain focused and steadfast in his mission to promote the activities of the government and to spotlight important socio-political and economic developments across the state and beyond.

The highlight of the visit was the presentation of recent editions of the Confluence Trust Newspaper to the DG Protocol for onward delivery to His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State.

The visit, which further strengthened the bond between the Government House and the Confluence Trust Newspaper, was described by observers as a testament to the growing recognition of indigenous media platforms as key partners in the development and progress of Kogi State.
