In a groundbreaking initiative to tackle unemployment and hardship, Dunamis International Gospel Centre has successfully trained and empowered 451 Nigerians with diverse vocational skills.
“Christians should live their lives with the fear of God and represent Him practically in their daily endeavors,” said Senior Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche, emphasising the importance of living a life of purpose and impact.
The comprehensive training programme covered various areas, including bag making, cooking, fashion design, web design, and poultry farming, among others. Beneficiaries received essential items and start-up funds to support their entrepreneurial journey.
“”Inequality leads to poor human capital formation and slower economic growth. We must address these issues to foster a thriving society,” stressed Bro. David Ozigi, the church’s welfare head and programme coordinator, highlighting the need for collective efforts to combat poverty and economic inequalities.

The initiative demonstrates Dunamis Church’s commitment to societal development and reducing unemployment. Plans are underway to establish a Vocational Skills Training Academy, providing a platform for youths to acquire necessary skills and respond to present realities.
This empowerment programme serves as a beacon of hope, showcasing the critical role religious institutions can play in economic empowerment and community development.
