In a bid to boost efficiency in managing community resources, the ECOWAS Parliament’s Joint Committee on Administration, Finance, and Budget has kicked off a five-day meeting in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The meeting aims to equip members with the knowledge and skills necessary for prudent management of community resources and effective budget monitoring. Key stakeholders, including the ECOWAS Commission and the Administration and Finance Committee, will engage in discussions to enhance the Community budgetary system.
Kalu expressed gratitude to the government and people of Côte d’Ivoire for their hospitality and appreciated the support of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire in organizing the meeting. “Long live ECOWAS! Long live ECOWAS Parliament!” Kalu concluded, emphasizing the commitment to improving the lives of ECOWAS citizens.
