The Association of West African Legislative Correspondents (AWALCO) has extended warm felicitations to the Speaker of the ECOWAS Parliament, Memounatu Ibrahima on the occasion of Eid-al-Adha.
In a statement signed by AWALCO President, Innocent Odoh, the association expressed its commitment to collaborating with the Speaker’s leadership to achieve the objectives of the ECOWAS Parliament.
“May this auspicious celebration bring joy, peace, and prosperity to you and your family,” the statement read.
Odoh recognised the Speaker’s tireless efforts in promoting regional integration, peace, and development in West Africa, saying: “We recognise your tireless efforts in promoting regional integration, peace, and development in West Africa.”
The association expressed the desire to continue its partnership with the Speaker’s office, stating: “We look forward to continuing our partnership and working closely with your office to advance the interests of the region.”
