According to the committee, total gross revenue generated in April stood at ₦3.184 trillion. After deductions of ₦113.756 billion for collection costs and ₦813.839 billion for transfers, refunds, and savings, the balance was shared among the three tiers of government.

Under the distribution formula, the Federal Government received ₦787.351 billion, state governments got ₦772.360 billion, while local government councils received ₦540.152 billion. Oil-producing states also shared ₦157.254 billion as 13 per cent derivation revenue.

FAAC reported a significant rise in statutory revenue, which increased from ₦1.699 trillion in March to ₦2.378 trillion in April. VAT collections also climbed from ₦664.425 billion to ₦806.617 billion within the same period.

The committee noted improved earnings from Companies Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Stamp Duty, Import Duty, Oil and Gas Royalties, and VAT. However, revenue from Petroleum Profit Tax, Hydrocarbon Tax, Excise Duty, and CET levies declined during the month under review.
