The Federal Housing Authority FHA has demanded for payment of outstanding statutory fees and charges accruable to the authority from it’s allottees on it’s estates across the country.
A public notice issued and signed by the management of the Authority released on Thursday indicated with dismay that some allottees on it’s estates across the country had indulged in accumulated debts to the agency, not minding the window provided to offset the debts during the period of Verification, Regularisation, Revalidation, and Recovery (VRRR), embarked upon since 2020.
In view of the above information, management is here by calling on its allottees across the country to settle/ make payments of all outstanding charges accruable to FHA, in respect of lands and houses allocated to them on or before 60 days from the date of the publication.
The management further reminded it’s allottees of it’s fees which included Ground rent, Consent fees, Redevelopment fees, Alteration fees, Fencing and BQ fees, Change of use ( where applicable) and plan approval fees.
According to the notice, the management will on expiration of the notice, be forced to invoke relevant clauses in the letters of allocations against defaulters.
