FOLABORA BRYHM FOUNDATION VISITS HOSPITAL IN DEKINA, ANKPA, OFU AND IDAH, OFFSET PATIENT MEDICAL BILLS
The FOLABORA Bryhm Foundation has taken a significant step towards improving access to healthcare by visiting hospitals in Dekina, Ankpa, Ofu, and Idah local government areas. During these visits, the foundation provided much-needed financial assistance to patients who were unable to afford their medical bills, ensuring that they could receive the necessary care without the burden of financial constraints.
Speaking about the initiative, the foundation’s state coordinator, Hon. Murtala Muhammad, stated that the effort was part of their mission to support the most vulnerable members of society. “Healthcare is a basic human right, and no one should be denied treatment due to financial difficulties,” Hon. Muhammad explained.
“Our goal is to ease the suffering of patients and their families, enabling them to focus on recovery rather than worry about how to settle their bills.”
The initiative was met with heartfelt gratitude from patients and their families, many of whom had been struggling to cover their hospital expenses.
The foundation not only provided financial relief but also gave hope to those who had been unable to afford medical attention for critical conditions after payment of the bills.
Hospital management teams across the visited local governments expressed their appreciation for the foundation’s efforts, noting the positive impact on their operations.
