FOSLA Academy athletes mounted the medals’ podium at the just concluded Mtn National Secondary School Championship tagged: Mtn Champs in Abuja.
The tournament held between 1st – 3rd December, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Mtn is organising a national athletics championship with zonal preliminaries that ended on Sunday, 3rd December, 2023 at the various zones of Abuja, Ibadan, Enugu and Kaduna states.
FOSLA Academy won 1 Gold and 2 bronze medals finished only behind Government Day Secondary School, Karu – 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 bronze medals.
Twenty two (22)Â secondary schools in Abuja registered for the tournament.
The medalists will progress to the National stage at a yet to be announced date by the organisers- Mtn.
The Medalists are:
- Alfa Benjamin- Gold in High Jump
- Queen Joseph- Bronze in 800 meters
- Patrick Michael, Bamayi Innocent, Abbass Usman and Kassim Usman – Bronze in 100 × 4 meters relay
