From Obscurity to $5,000: The Power of Consistency, Patience and Clean Spirit, by VDM

So, something happened recently between Davido and a Ghanaian TikToker named Anazo Official that I want to share with you. Anazo did a cover of Davido’s song featuring Malay, and Davido was impressed enough to gift him $5,000.

What’s interesting is that I was the one who sent the video to Davido, asking him to repost it. Davido reposted it without even watching it, trusting my judgment. When I looked at Anazo’s page, I noticed he had been consistently doing covers for different musicians since 2020. He didn’t just start yesterday; he’s been at it for years. Nobody had gifted him money until Davido did.

This story shows how consistency can lead to success. Anazo’s persistence in creating content paid off, and it’s a lesson for everyone, whether you’re a musician, producer, or in any other field. Consistency is crucial because it emphasizes faith over experience, driving you to take action even when you don’t feel like it. It helps you develop roots that can navigate through challenging times and disciplines you spiritually, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Consistency also highlights the importance of spirituality. Having a connection with a higher power can guide you in your endeavors. Speaking to God or your ancestors can provide direction and support. Anazo’s success wasn’t just about his talent, but also about his consistency and potentially his spiritual alignment.

The Bible reinforces this concept in Luke 18:1-7, where a persistent widow’s plea is eventually granted due to her unwavering dedication. This parable teaches us to persist in prayer and seeking God’s guidance, trusting that He will respond in due time ¹.

The key takeaway from Anazo’s story is to stay focused and patient, trusting the process. Don’t quit, even when you don’t see immediate results. With consistency, you’ll get there eventually. Just like the persistent widow, we must be diligent in our service to God and maintain consistency in our actions to experience breakthroughs ².

Time is a powerful ally, and consistency can lead to immense power and success. So, don’t play games with consistency; stay committed, and your efforts will pay off in the long run.
