Group Mobilises Support For Tinubu’s Re-election

Group Mobilises Support For Tinubu’s Re-election

The National Amalgamation for the Continuation of Renewed Hope (NACRH) has pledged to protect President Bola Tinubu’s reforms from disruption and mobilise support for his re-election in 2027.

The group’s national coordinator, Olorunwa Adeleke, made this known at its inauguration and press conference on Wednesday in Abuja.

Mr Adeleke said NACRH was established to unify civil society organisations, unions, professional groups, and grassroots actors into a coordinated force backing reform continuity.

He stressed that reforms could not be sustained by decree alone, but must be anchored in the consent and engagement of the people.

“NACRH exists to shield reform momentum from disruption, prevent policy reversals, counter disinformation, and foster a culture of continuity beyond personality.

“It will serve as a bridge between the people and government, ensuring feedback, accountability, and inclusive participation.

“This platform is not a mere campaign tool. It is a civil platform, a guardian of reform continuity, and a voice for Nigeria’s hopeful majority,” Mr Adeleke said.

He urged Nigerians to support Mr Tinubu’s second term, describing it as a matter of national interest for coherent governance.

According to him, since taking office, the president has taken tough but necessary decisions such as fuel subsidy removal, exchange rate unification and structural fiscal reforms.

Mr Adeleke noted that recent economic indicators had begun to reflect the impact of these policies.

“As Reuters reported, Nigeria’s GDP grew by 4.23 per cent in Q2 2025, the fastest in four years. Inflation eased to 20.12 per cent, the lowest in three years, while external reserves rose to 42.03 billion dollars.

“In addition, N330 billion was disbursed to eight million vulnerable households under social investment schemes,” he said.

He said fiscal deficit had narrowed from 5.4 per cent of GDP in 2023 to around three per cent in 2024, due to improved Internally Generated Revenue.

Mr Adeleke said the administration had made progress in infrastructure, energy, and security, citing ongoing road, rail, and power projects, gas expansion, and safer highways in banditry-prone zones.

He added that initiatives such as the proposed National Credit Guarantee Company would expand credit access, particularly for youth, women and small businesses.

He further said the administration had strengthened anti-corruption institutions, enhanced judicial capacity and expanded social investments in healthcare, education and safety nets.

“With a second term, President Tinubu will consolidate these gains and drive greater development. We call on Nigerians at home and abroad to rally behind this vision,” Mr Adeleke said.
