HON. ANAMERO DEKERI: A PROPHECY

By Collins Imoudu Andrew

One thing we have all come to love about Hon. Anamero Dekeri is his tireless commitment to his people and dogged pursuit of his ambition. He will not shy away from the leadership role God has placed on his shoulders. No wonder his willingness to serve and capacity to lead from the front has endeared him more and more to his people.

Given the part of Edo state he hailed from, it is often difficult but, not impossible, to seek and become the governor. Hence this prophecy! If he keeps pushing and stretching the limits; he will sit on the throne in an uncommon hour.

Nothing gives this prediction credence like one of the seminal quotes from Henry David Thoreau, Walden: “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavours to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He will put some things behind, will pass an invisible boundary; new, universal, and more liberal laws will begin to establish themselves around and within him; or the old laws be expanded, and interpreted in his favour in a more liberal sense, and he will live with the licence of a higher order of beings.”

The above statement by Henry contains the seed of greatness embedded in the philosophy of Hon. Anamero Dekeri’s pursuit and desire to one day actualise his dream of standing at the pinnacle of his career not just for himself and his immediate family but for the entire Okphellans and the Edo people at large.

Nothing members of his constituency want more than to witness a day when their illustrious son will climb to the peak of his career as the executive governor of Edo state. We all long to see that day to witness the fulfilment of this prophecy.

What is most assuring is that Hon. Anamero Dekeri has taken a step that has started the voyage before long, and no matter how long he will get there because the journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.

In our characteristic manner of showcasing entrepreneurs, leaders and mentors caught within our radar, we dedicated the August edition of our publication captioned: Hon. Anamero Dekeri: Securing a Place in History to encourage him to step into the gubernatorial arena to fight and represent his people. The publication also aimed at providing resources and references to the young ones who hoped to emulate a personality like him.

Hon. Anamero Dekeri embodies a leader who feels the pain of his people and turns it into fuel to seek their good. We hope this edition will add to the much-needed awareness every leader craves while increasing the consciousness required for all stakeholders to see him as the chosen one.

As usual, our publication is packed with informative and educative pieces, we are delighted to come your way again this month. Enjoy flipping the pages.
