…Accused of doing the bidding of Illuminati
An investigation by Summit Post has revealed that a group of pastors in Akwa Ibom State had sought to ostracise the Kaduna-born Pastor Abel Damina, Senior Pastor of Power City International, from the state.
The pastors accused Damina of spreading misleading teachings and allegedly doing the bidding of the Illuminati.
According to a competent government source, “We believe that religious matters should be left to the divine. God will defend His words. We urge calm and respect. ”
In a petition to the police, Damina argued that the Nigerian Constitution guarantees him freedom of expression and residency in any part of the country. On the strength of Damina’s petition, the police intervened to enforce his fundamental human rights.

However, one of the aggrieved pastors, who spoke on condition of anonymity, alleged that “The Illuminati is sponsoring Pastor Abel Damina against the church.”
He questioned Damina’s teachings, saying, “What message is Damina preaching? He only listens to messages of leading men of God and attacks them. Damina is not preaching Christ.”
He argued that;” Abel Damina aquired his wealth as a pastor having arrived Uyo with nothing. He now boast of estates in choice locations attributable to proceeds from the church. He is now condemning and questioning the same source of his wealth. Let him start by making restitution since his wealth and property are ill gotten according to his new teachings”
The dispute centers around doctrinal differences between Pastor Damina and his fellow clergy.
