The Jenjo born General and Army Chief Special Services and Programs, Major General Henry Wesley Tafida says he is ready to use his military carrier to touch lives of his Community and Tarabans.
The Military expert stated this while answering questions from newsmen on the Multipurpose Hall edifice recently commissioned in Jen, Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Wesley Tafida revealed that as Army Officer he owns a social responsibility to rendering a community service with the aim of promoting societal sustainability, hence, for more support to the people.
He appreciated the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja for the support on the completion of multipurpose edifice established in Jen community, saying that the project would attract more development to the community.The General asked people of Jen community to reciprocate their gesture in protecting and maintaining the project, adding the project is a rare opportunity from the Nigeria Army.
Speaking on the driven factor for initiating the project, Wesley said that the idea was burnout of his social responsibility in collaboration with the Nigeria Army to rendering humanitarian service to the people.
He called on the people of Taraba state to support Governor Agbu Kefas led administration succeed, adding that people of Taraba are fortunate to have a passionate leader who mean well for the state.
The Lagbaja Multipurpose Hall initiated by Major General Henry Wesley Tafida recently is part of Nigeria Army’s corporate social responsibility in reaching society with live touching project that have direct bearings on the people.
