The Former Governor of Taraba State, Rev. Jolly Tavoro Nyame, has said that the country needs collective of all Nigerians towards improving security, hunger and poverty.
He stated this in his message to Nigerians on this year’s 65th anniversary of Independence.
“Today, October 1st, 2025, we joyfully celebrate 65 glorious years of independence! As we commemorate this remarkable milestone, we honor the courageous pioneers who fought tirelessly for our nation’s sovereignty. Their unwavering dedication and vision have paved the way for the progress we’ve achieved so far.
“As we reflect on our journey, we acknowledge the significant strides we’ve made while also recognizing areas that require collective effort for improvement (to mention but few, Insecurity, Unemployment, poverty, and ultimately hunger), let us harness our rich cultural diversity, abundant natural resources, and resilient spirit to propel Nigeria toward greater heights.
