Interviewer: Can you introduce yourself and the organization you represent?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: My name is Yunusa Gabriel Enemali, and I am the President of the National Apex of Cashew Farmers, Processors, and Marketing Cooperative Ltd.

Interviewer: What is the vision of the National Apex of Cashew Farmers, Processors, and Marketing Cooperative Ltd?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: Our vision is simple: to make Nigeria a leading producer and exporter of high-quality cashew nuts, while improving the livelihood of cashew farmers, processors, and marketers.

Interviewer: What is the mission of the organization?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: Our mission is to provide a strong, unified voice for the cashew industry in Nigeria, while promoting sustainable production practices, enhancing productivity, and increasing market access for members.

Interviewer: How does the organization plan to achieve its objectives?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: We have established a robust organizational structure, comprising a Board of Directors, Executive Management, and various departments. We are committed to improving productivity through training, extension services, and access to improved varieties.

Interviewer: What benefits do members of the organization receive?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: Our members benefit from access to training and capacity-building programs, improved market access and trade facilitation, support for research and development, and advocacy and representation at national and international levels.

Interviewer: Has the organization established any partnerships to support the development of the cashew industry in Nigeria?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: Yes, we have established partnerships with research institutions, government agencies, private sector organizations, and international development organizations to support the development of the cashew industry in Nigeria.

Interviewer: Who is eligible to join the organization?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: Membership is open to all cashew farmers, processors, and marketers in Nigeria.

Interviewer: What impact do you hope the organization will have on the livelihoods of cashew farmers, processors, and marketers in Nigeria?

Yunusa Gabriel Enemali: With our commitment to empowering Nigeria’s cashew industry, we are poised to make a significant impact on the livelihoods of cashew farmers, processors, and marketers across the country.
