The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the timeline for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Key Dates:
Sale of UTME forms: January 31 – March 5, 2025
Direct Entry (DE) forms: March 10 – April 7, 2025
Mock UTME: April 5, 2025
Main UTME: April 25 – May 5, 2025
Registration Costs:
UTME only: ₦7,200
UTME with mock exam: ₦8,200
The fees include application costs, CBT service charges, and bank fees.
New Initiative for Underage Candidates:
JAMB has introduced a special mock UTME for candidates under 16. While not for admission purposes, it allows these students to test their abilities in preparation for future exams.
Eligibility Requirements:
Candidates must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, to qualify for admission.
Exceptional students below 15 may be considered if they score at least 280 in UTME and excel in their Senior Secondary Certificate and post-UTME exams.
