Kogi-born Abdulfatai Set To Break Guinness World Record For Longest Marathon Ironing

Abuja, Nigeria: A Kogite, named Dauda Abdulfatai is ironing his way into the record books, with his application for the Guinness World Record title of Longest Marathon Ironing officially accepted! Abdulfatai’s ambitious goal is to conquer the ironing board for a staggering 200 hours, surpassing the current record of 151 hours and 30 minutes set in 2018.

The news arrived via email from Guinness World Records, informing Abdulfatai that his application (reference number 230618101834Imi) had been accepted under the title “Longest marathon ironing.” The email also provided a link to his online application summary, where Abdulfatai can access details about the current record to beat and the strict guidelines he must adhere to during his attempt.
