Napoli Sets Wall Against Juventus in Osimhen Transfer Chase

Napoli is taking a firm stance as Juventus eyes Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen ahead of the summer transfer window.

Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly determined not to allow the prolific forward to switch to their Serie A rivals.

The 26-year-old striker, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in outstanding form this season. Since joining the Turkish side, he has netted 29 goals and contributed six assists across all competitions, attracting strong interest from top European clubs. His performances have not only impressed fans in Turkey but also reignited demand for his signature across Europe.

Osimhen’s departure from Napoli is considered likely, especially following a strained relationship with the club’s management last season. Although his contract situation remains a topic of speculation, his exit from the club appears to be on the horizon. Galatasaray’s successful season with Osimhen leading the line has only added to his growing list of suitors.

Interest in Osimhen isn’t limited to Italy. Premier League sides such as Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal are reportedly keeping close tabs on his situation. Juventus, however, has emerged as one of the more aggressive contenders for his signature within Serie A.

Despite this, Napoli has no intention of strengthening a domestic rival. De Laurentiis has reportedly stated his refusal to sanction any deal that would see Osimhen join Juventus. The club is prepared to entertain offers from abroad but has drawn a clear line when it comes to their league opponents.

The exact terms of any future transfer are yet to be seen, and Napoli is expected to demand a substantial fee given Osimhen’s recent form. While a move away from Naples seems certain, where the Nigerian international ends up remains a key storyline heading into the summer.

For now, Juventus will need to look elsewhere if they hope to reinforce their attack, as Napoli remains firm on keeping Osimhen out of their reach.
