A frontline senatorial aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Nasarawa North, Chief Nathaniel Aya Akwashiki, has donated ₦1 million to the Karu branch of the Eggon Cultural and Development Association, ECDA, for its planned multi-purpose hall project.
Mr. Akwashiki made the donation on Saturday at the fundraising ceremony for the construction of the multi-purpose hall in Karu.
He lauded the members and leadership of the association over the project and advised them to include lodging rooms in the building plan to boost revenue generation.
The PDP Chieftain, who pledged his continued support to the association, stressed that any event aimed at advancing the Eggon Nation holds special importance to him.
“Whenever I’m called to support a cause that benefits the Eggon Nation, I don’t take it lightly. I’m always available and ready to contribute my quota to its growth,” he reiterated.
The event, under the chairmanship of Dr. David Emmanuel Ombugadu, had in attendance prominent personalities who lauded the association over the initiative.
