Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim faithful in Nigeria and the diaspora on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Adegbite urged the Muslim faithful to continue living a sacrificial life by reaching out to the less privileged and the needy in society.
This, he said, is in line with the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The NCPC Executive Secretary also emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony, encouraging Muslims to accommodate people of other faiths.
He advised them to celebrate with moderation and be sensitive to the happenings around them.
Adegbite also urged the Muslim faithful to use the Eid-el-Kabir celebration as an opportunity to pray for President Bola Tinubu and his administration.
He expressed hope that the renewed hope agenda will yield positive outcomes for all Nigerians.
The NCPC boss also encouraged the Muslim faithful to promote peace in their communities, saying that peace is essential for meaningful development and progress.
He, therefore, expressed optimism that with the support and prayers of all Nigerians, the country will overcome its challenges and take its rightful place in the global community.
