The National Council for Women Societies (NCWS) has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim community in Nigeria and worldwide as they celebrate Sallah Eid-Adha.
In a statement signed by Mrs Geraldine Etuk, Acting National President of NCWS, the council commended the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion that define the celebration. “We acknowledge the values of sacrifice, obedience, and compassion that this celebration embodies and appreciate the spirit of love, kindness, and generosity that defines the Muslim community,” Mrs Etuk said.
Mrs Etuk prayed for peace, unity, and prosperity in Nigeria and the world at large, saying, “As we celebrate this joyous occasion, we pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in our nation and the world at large.”
The NCWS also congratulated Muslim brothers and sisters on this blessed occasion, wishing them a joyous and peaceful celebration.
