The Niger State Government has been thrown into mourning following the passing away of Hajia Zainab Yakubu Garba, the wife of the Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba.
In a condolence message, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Women and Affirmative Action, Mary Noel-Berje, described the late Hajia Zainab as “a remarkable individual whose warmth, generousity, and unwavering support greatly contributed to the well-being of her family and the community.”
“Hajia Zainab will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her,” Mary Noel-Berje said in a statement. “During this time of profound grief, I and the entire women of Niger State stand in solidarity with the Deputy Governor and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them as they navigate through this incredibly difficult period.”
The Special Adviser urged the Deputy Governor to accept the death of his wife as the will of the Almighty God, and prayed that the family would find solace in the cherished memories of late Hajia Zainab Yakubu Garba and the legacy of kindness, love, and spirituality she left behind.
“May the Almighty God repose the soul of the deceased and grant the Deputy Governor and other family members the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” she added.
